Samrat and Tripti's Residence

Situated in Domlur, this home for a family of three has a warm, homely character with a distinctly English influence. The design draws from the family’s connection to a coffee estate and its history with the British, creating a space that feels familiar, collected and deeply personal. For Samrat, the story of the home began with the coffee estate and the memories associated with it. Pieces of artwork collected by his mother over the years were brought into the home, adding another layer of history and personality to the space. The result is an understated English-inspired home that brings together old memories, family heirlooms and everyday living in a way that feels effortless and entirely its own.

Sushma and Sanjay’s Residence

Reimagining a space isn’t always about starting over. Sometimes, it is about refining what is already there - introducing new textures, reworking existing pieces, layering in rugs and using lighting to bring warmth and character to the home. At Sushma and Sanjay’s residence, subtle shifts in layout, material and palette gave familiar spaces a renewed sense of purpose. An overlooked corner, for instance, was brought to life with a comfortable chair and side table, eventually becoming a favourite spot for the family. It is these small, thoughtful changes that make the home feel refreshed, intentional and truly lived in.

Kunnur Project

Designed by BN Architects, this holiday home in Kunnur brings together the quiet rhythm of the hills with a warm, considered approach to furniture. Chairs & Company executed the furniture for the home, creating pieces that complement the architecture while responding to the way each space is lived in. One home, four bedrooms - each designed around the rhythm, routine and rest of its occupant. Comfortable and understated, the furniture allows the surrounding landscape to take centre stage, inviting you to sit back and stay a while. From the interiors to the alfresco spaces, natural grains, tactile textures and refined forms come together in pieces that balance durability with comfort, bringing a sense of nostalgia and warmth to a contemporary holiday home.
